Bowman Lake lies in the northwestern portion of Glacier National Park.
It is not commonly visited by most visitors to Glacier National Park, because it is
located in one of the more remote areas of the park. It is more well-known
among local residents. At 1,706 acres (6.9 km²), Bowman Lake is the
third largest lake in the park, after Lake McDonald and St. Mary Lake.
