At this pull-out on the Icefields Parkway you get a fabulous view of the Sunwapta Canyon (below left), Mount Athabasca (left) Snow Dome, Mount Kitchener. On the slopes immediately facing the camera, one frequently sights mountain goats. There is a proposal by Brewster to build a very large observing platform that would extend over the canyon by about 300 feet. But, it would certainly destroy the ambience and wilderness feeling that the park should be promoting.
