In the Amazon, there are two seasons: wet and dry season, however the dry season does see rain as well.
In the Peruvian Amazon the rainy season last from approximately October/November to April/May and the dry season last from May to September. During the rainy season, intense rain flow overflow their banks and flood the surrounding ecosysten, like the gigapan taken.
