While hunting grouse in the Central Cascades, I stumbled upon this extraordinary view of Mount Hood. Fortunately, it was not very far from my vehicle, where I had my gigapixel photography equipment. This image was captured with 84 individual pictures from a Canon 5D Mark II, gingerly mounted on an Epic 100 (not recommended).
I also had my Canon PowerShot S5IS available and shot another panorama with it. That image can be found at photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=c96d9d90-ec19-4494-8f17-f279c3a6b37d
