    It is a good lens but not the best. I have the same one. Did you use 'Peripheral Illumination Correction' on your camera? If not, better to use it next time. It will eliminate this problem. Now you can solve your problem in photoshop or at least reduce it. Go to filters/lens correction and select vignette. It will show you the camera and lens profile applied. You have to do it on all your images and than try to go for another stitch. Cheers, K

    I am using Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM. I was using it at 400 mm focal length. I hope I don't need a better lens than that! What can I do to make this work? Thanks for commenting.

    Hi Carl. This is called vignetting and it is coming from your lens. You are using a very good camera but I believe you need a better quality lens. Btw what lens are you using?
