This is the north portion of the Boulder Pass Goat observation point in Glacier National Park. The Crown of the Continent Research Learning Center's High Country Citizen Science program is conducting Citizen Science Surveys to monitor mountain goat population trends in Glacier National Park. We are experimenting with Gigapans to determine detection probability of mountain goats by comparing these panoramas to ground surveys conducted simultaneously. We are collaborating with local high school in this effort.
