This amazing cathedral entrace features some dramatic relief in the stonework, which can be seen in stereographic 3D using the cross-eye viewing method. This image has the left-eye and right-eye views combined side by side, it was shot handheld with a D300s. I moved a couple feet over between each image sequence. The fellow in the photo did move his hands a bit between each sequence unfortunately. This is hyperstereo (the cameras were further apart than your eyes), but it really makes the stonework relief pop out.
This can be viewed in 3D Stereo (Anaglyph, or Side by Side for 3D TV at www.3d-360.com/3d/91055-91055-10-10
)
This image pair was stitched with PtGUI using the Rectilinear image projection, it was shot handheld with the Handipan.com camera attachment for easy handheld panoramic image capture and alignment.
