Otter View Park has been conserved by the Middlebury Area Land Trust as a natural area in a residential section of Middlebury, Vermont. I was hoping to photograph the cattail marsh which is the centerpiece of the park, but the wind direction did not allow that. This image includes part of the marsh, an old field, and the forested bank between them.
This image is stitched from 12 photos taken by a Canon A590 lofted by a Levitation Delta kite. The camera was on a fixed rig, pointed straight down, and snapping a photo every 10 seconds. Ten of the photos were stitched in MS ICE, and two additional photos were added by hand in Photoshop.
This KAP flight also captured images of a large residential area adjacent to the marsh. These images were aligned using the online tool at MapKnitter.org. The resulting orthophoto mosaic can be viewed here: mapknitter.org/tms/otter-view-park-west/openlayers.html
Notes:

28mm (eq)

Most photos were lightened in Lightroom and saved at 40% quality.
