Field of view is approximatly 15 by 20 mm. Crossed polars. Image is a garnet-chloritoid schist from Jamaica, Vermont. Large porphyroblast of garnet (nearly opaque) contains gently curved inclusion trail of chloritoid. Chloritoid is appears as shades of gray. Well developed crenulation cleavage in right third and lower left corner of image.
