McCarren Park Pool is an outdoor city pool in NYC. Empty for many years, the pool has been used as an event venue for concerts and film screenings since 2005.

On August 30, 2008, Sonic Youth played the final show at the Pool before construction is expected to begin to turn the space back into a working pool.

This gigapan was taken after that final show. Goodbye McCarren Park Pool, I'll miss you.
