The south side entrance to Chapman Square is where OccupyPortland handled housekeeping like recycling & fuel storage for their generators.Chapman Square was occupied in the fall of 2011 in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement. As with other #Occupy encampments, facilities were established to provide basic needs for occupiers.
These provisions drew those in need from across the city, swelling the movement's numbers, but also adding to the footprint of the movement's impact on place, policy, and sustainability.
The protest continues...we are the 99%.
