Description

View into Redwood Forest with person. California Coastal Redwoods, the tallest trees in the world. Native to Northern California & Oregon many of these ancient trees reach over 400 feet (140 meters) high. Only a few old growth stands of these trees are left intact due to logging over the past 150 years. This 99 image Gigapan was a bit difficult to shoot due to the extreme exposures in the darkness of the forest, many were 1/4sec up to 2+ seconds long making for a few blurred shots.
GigaPan Epic 100, Nikon P5100.
