With the whole family for Thanksgiving at a beachfront rental home at Rocky Point. The Sea of Cortez lies spread out below our high beachfront vista. Tides move over 100 yards from low to high. Here it is just past low tide and it is coming in fast. A rich assortment of tide pools provide an endless variety of things for the kids to explore. At high tide, the waves touch the seawall below the line of vacation homes. Off to the far right is the town of Puerto Penasco and the first of many high-rise resort hotels. Left of center a collection of seagulls and pelicans are feasting on small fish that are constantly at the waterline.
