Using different setings on the Canon SX20 and GigaPan EPIC 100.
The bookshelf is in my family room.
Sadly, the GigaPan used all of the battery life before completing the entire bookshelf. I have found that the GigaPan EPIC 100 requires a great deal of power and goes through batteries quickly, even when using high quality rechargable NiMH batteries.

Hi Steve, You should be getting better performance from NiMH batteries. One set of Eneloops captured 1600 photos this summer, and I got 1100 photos at 20° F in the winter. These were both with the old version of the Epic 100. Maybe you have one bad cell or something.
