Description

This was photographed on a little road north of Rectortown and south of MIddleburg and Upperville, Virginia (U.S.A.). Goose Creek, a locally well-known stream, is just to the left [west] at the far edge of the flat flood plain on the left side of the road.

This road is typical of the dirt roads in this area of northern Virginia, which is still rural even though it is only about 45 miles west of Washington, D.C. This area is also one of the "horsiest" in all of the U.S.A.

I made this April 27, 2011. I set up the Gigapan and tripod on the roof of my car.

Excellent depth of field and clarity. Can you tell more about the shoot such as camera, lens and settings? Great shot.
