Taken mid-day on 28 december, 2011. The sun was clearly higher than would provide much of any golden light or contrast. The wind was reasonably calm, and I did not put up the windbreak. Taken with a Sony Alpha 900, with the 70-400 Sony G-series Lens. Taken as 5 rows of 21 images, lens set at 105mm, exposure locked at 1/200 @ f11. Haze was moderate this day, but almost no clouds. Pretty, in a California sort of way. Minor exposure adjustments made in original images before stitching.
