Description

This was one of the stops for members of the Florida Native Plant Society who spent 8 days in the Exumas which is one of the island chains in the Bahamas. Members lived on board the Shedd Aquarium's 80-foot research vessel R/V Coral Reef II and visited 2 to 4 sites daily. This afforded us the opportunity to examine the unique geology, flora, and fauna up close and personal.
