  4. The location is Rancho Mariposa in the highlands of Santa Cruz. It's a good place to see giant tortoises. They come here on their own at certain times of the year. The rancher, who is also a naturalist, gives them free access to the ranch.

  6. Absolutely must love these slow moving wildlife in the Galapagos that allow you to approach closely and take multiple frames for a panorama without moving, they are so well photographically behaved. 8 images stiched using PtGui. Nikon D200. Handheld.
