  9. When I first saw this sort of feature outcropping in a roadcut in Big Thompson Canyon, Colorado I thought they resesmbled dinosaur footprints. However, since these are found in Precambrian metamorphic rocks that is clearly not the case. In fact, this is probably some sort of metamorphosed concretion(?). This GigaPan...

  10. The same BIF seen in cross section in another roadcut exposure that's uploading, this is the top surface of that exposure where the iron formation has been glacially sculpted and polished.
