I had really hoped to get a bunch of GigaPans along the Beartooth Highway, but the weather had other plans. I did shoot this one before ascending into the clouds.

On the hike to Hidden Falls I passed this decaying stump. The color just screamed out for me to GigaPan the scene. I'm not sure if I zoomed in enough to make out the host of creepy-crawly's that make this stump a home, but if they're visible I hope you'll snapshot them.

In many ways, this view of Lower Yellowstone Falls has superior lighting as compared to the one that I shot the previous day (www.gigapan.org/gigapans/30677/). In particular, and thanks to the tip from professional photographer Roger Devore (www.devorephoto.com

What does the man on the blue exercise ball see when he looks around the recording studio of the TWiT Cottage? See for yourself! If you log in on GigaPan.org you can take a "snapshot" and comment on items of interest around the studio. It might be interesting to see how many of these can be linked to references in...

Seastacks and coastal terraces beside the Pacific Coast Highway between Bodega Head and Jenner, California. To the best of my knowledge this GigaPan is the world's first full gigapixel anaglyph image. In order to view the image in 3D you'll need a pair of red/blue anaglyph glasses (you may have a pair in your colle...

This is a thin section of dunite, a rock made up almost entirely of the mineral olivine, as seen in cross-polarized light through a Leica Z6 APO Macroscope. There is a band of black mineral grains to the left of center of the image that is a cumulate layer of the mineral chromite - in the magma chamber from which thes...
