Around 6:40 I arrived to catch the last of the golden light on the golden fields. This is traditional dry farming in this area. Many fine home have been built here to take advantage of the views and open space.

The area where I grew up. Beautiful green tree covered mountains and green grassy valleys. Several logging units of varying ages can be seen. Logging is what sustains the little town.

I took this zoomed in I thought as far as possible, but the exif headers report 342 mm equivalent. I am bummed at the focus, and I don't understand it. it might be that I need to use Randy's trick of setting a shot timer, and increasing the delay a lot, so that the camera doesn't shake when the button is pushed.
