  5. A theme-park style tourest market--Starbucks and DQ included. In spite of its appearent westernization, with my full beard I was such a curiosity that many of the Asian tourists want to have their photo taken with me. Each asked in a most friendly way to do so.

  7. Began in 1888, the Markerville Creamery served the many dairy farmers in the Medicine Valley west of Red Deer, Alberta. The truck is a 1931 International. In the early days, ice was cut from the river in winter to refrigerate the dairy.
