Given the questionable weather forecasts I decided to shoot a GigaPan of Moraine Park on the evening of my arrival in Estes Park, Colorado for the Fine Outreach for Science (FOFS) GigaPan conference. Nothing quite like a chair lift to get one to a good vantage point! And I got done shooting this one just in time, too - an approaching thunderstorm threatened to shut down the lift within a half an hour of the time I got off the mountain.
