Hybrid Orchid. Photographed with a Canon 5D MK II in a series of 6 images at 1/2X ea. Each of the 6 images is a Helicon Focus of 4 images to optimize depth of field. A total of 24 images make up this image to optimize resolution and depth of field. The composite was made in Adobe Photoshop CS4.

This is one of the two waterfall displays in the Bauman Greenhouse at the American Orchid Society Visitors Center and Botanical Garden. This beautiful garden is located in Delray Beach, Florida. Although the garden opened in 2001, it looks much older and is well established. Check their website: www.aos.org
