  1. This photo was taken at the end of the wheat harvest in central Maryland. This grain elevator in located in Mt. Pleasant, but has a Walkersville mailing address. Photo consists of 84 images taken with a Nikon D80, zoom lens set at 70mm.

  2. Some of the local farmers (at least the small ones) still harvest grain the old fashioned way using a binder and a threshing machine or separator.
