  5. This is a panorama made from 123 images stiched together. The picture was taken using a Canon 50D and an 80mm f1.8 lens working at f22. Unfortunately there was a spot of dust on the lens! The panorama was taken from the Wittenham clumps and careful observers will be able to pick out the Didcot power station, the River...

  8. This was hand shot, hand stitched-- didn't have the gigapan or tripod with me on vacation. You can barely see the very top of the head of an alligator at the top part of the pool at left, just below the log-like thing. The eye is prominent. Also elsewhere in the picture are egrets or herons (I forget which is which)...
