  4. ... as seen on May 28, 2010. A familiar sight to almost everyone who's been down Racetrack Valley to see the Racing Rocks. Also, even though it's a little less geological than the other GigaPans in the Death Valley NP Geology gallery, I just couldn't resist including it.

  6. The Grandstand is an outcrop of rock in the middle of Racetrack Playa, where the rocks move when nobody is watching. It was a potential emergency landing site for the North American X-15 rocket plane.
