Most of the world's French Dijon mustard is prepared from the crop grown in southern Alberta. The three hills in the background are in Montana, the names are the East Butte, Golden Butte and West Butte. Mustard is similar to Canola (rapeseed) but is grown for it's oil, whereas mustard is grown for the condiment.

Mustard field just north of highway 401 in Bowmanville. Transport trailers adorned with canvas tarps advertise local delights . . . a coffee shop and retirement community.
