The race track is located in the middle of Johnson Park right next to the petting zoo. The horses are housed in barns next to the track and are taken out by their trainers and the park authorities. The track itself is an oval shape and has a pond, a few trees, and some other decoration in the middle.

Taken at the intersection of Barlett and Hobart Streets. This was a fairly challenging gigapan because of the hills, trees, spectators and very limited locations to set up without a media pass or getting in the way. I ended up standing on a small grassy hill wedged between hot staging areas, fences and crosswalks.

This is the Paddock area of the 24h Le Mans Race 2009. I shot the images at 3 a.m. at night. It took about 90minutes due to using the self timer of the cam, a 2sec. exposure time and a 10 sec. Giga Pan delay to prevent the pictures from blurring. I don´t no why.. but in some pix is blurring..? But stitching worked fin...
