Photograph taken at the Lifeguard house at 8th Street in South Beach, Miami Beach, Florida, during a Sunday afternoon... the coolest an nicest beach in the world... after Ipanema, of course.

This is also known as a red flour beetle, and it's magnified 500x using a scanning electron microscope. This is a pest beetle that causes damage to stored grains and can live up to three years. This specimen was given to us by Molly Steinwald, a PhD candidate in the Department of Zoology at Miami University.

Finally got a decent stitch out of this using stitcher and manually fixing the skyline. Good enough for the internet, not really good enough to print...missing the fisherman's hand and some of the palm tress, which I could manufacture but would take a lot of time. Again shot in HDR but stitched through one exposure. On...

Taken on the same trip to the zoo as the Tiger Habitat panorama found here: gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=25389Again, non-HDR, and I'm coming to the conclusion that these look as good as the HDRs if not better because of the meticulous retouching involved. It may also rely heavily on the content of the pictur...

The first non-HDR, non-gigapixel panorama i've done in a bit, which is shamelessly easy by comparison to everything else I've been making recently. I took it HDR, but the time per pic was slightly too short so I missed one or two shots per panorama and had to make em up instead...

My second gigapixel HDR image. Spent a lot of time photoshopping fast-moving details such as the cop car and a people so that very few HDR artifacts remain. Again a lot of work but really happy with the result. Enjoy!

After about 3-4 days of wrestling with my computer, I finally got an hdr panorama i'm really happy with. Bracketed +/- 2.0, tone mapped as hdrs in photomatix, stiched using autopano giga, corrected and exported in photoshop. A lot of work, but I really like the result, and the fact that this would be 3.5 x 13 ft long a...

Another shot that would have been ruined due to rain had it not been for the slight overhang. Stitched in autopano giga with planar projection (hence the straight lines but ridiculously warped roof). More to come!

Shot this pretty early morning to avoid the 12 PM storms we've been getting here this summer so far. Also going to get down a bit lower when taking the shot next time...the shoreline seems to have been pretty exaggerated. Still, ultimately pretty happy with it.
