  1. This is an Ohio farmhouse circa 1879. Front and south sides are finish cut, the other two sides are rough cut. The sandstone was quarried about a quarter mile away on farm.

  6. Rock City is a local park near Minneapolis, Kansas where dozens of meter-scale concretions of Dakota Sandstone have remained resistant to weathering. Berti and Edi (the rock gnomes) had a field day! See if you can find and snapshot them in all of their hiding places.
