Three highways converge on Yosemite Valley. The northern most of these is highway 120. It goes through a long tunnel and as you exit the tunnel you pass a turnout with this view looking at the Merced River coming down the Canyon with Bridalvail Fall in the distance.

A beautiful January morning in the high desert town of Bend, Oregon on the East side of the Cascades. The desert flora was encased in a shell of ice. Amazingly beautiful, just wish I'd gotten the shot earlier.
