  2. At this time of year the sun sets, but it does not get dark. The sun was rising behind Pulpit Rock about 4:30 AM. And th emist was rolling down the river.

  4. We camped here for two days at the Gate. The campsite was covered with debris from a significant rain event two weeks before. The river was also very high and silty. It was not a good idea to drink the water out of a clear water bottle.
