  7. This roadcut perserves ripple marks that are now nearly two billion years old. Tilted during the Penokean Orogeny, these rocks are also some of the oldest redbeds (evidence of an atmosphere with free oxygen) in the world.

  8. This is definitely not the most impressive roadcut of Gowganda Fm. tillite north of Elliot Lake, Ontario, however due to highway construction on the day I passed thru it was the most impressive one that I had access to for GigaPanning purposes.
