There appears to be a good harvest of grain in Alberta if the weather co-operates for the next month to speed the ripening. This year's crop was late being seeded because of the excess spring moisture and heavy snow.

A large, tornadic thunderstorm fired up about 50 miles west of Hays, KS around noon today.
