This GigaPan of Waimea Canyon is from the opposite side of the regular Canyon Lookout. It was taken from the Canyon Trail. It was not the best condition for taking a GigaPan as you can see the different exposures caused by the clouds moving in front of the sun.

My first weekend with the gigapan and a Canon SD790 (also a vacation to the East Coast). Think I will need to upgrade to a bigger zoom lens to really take advantage. The SD790 also has some vignetting that I hadn't noticed before.
