A beautiful afternoon at Waikiki. I took the panorama from the Kapiolani Park end of Waikiki at the Kapahulu Pier/breakwater. The view is towards the NorthWest. Lots of water movement and people movement make for many interesting discoveries.

I like to get a high resolution snap shot of the neighborhood from time to time so I can watch the changes over time.

The boardwalk in the middle of the frame runs through the short stature rainforest of the Mount Ka`ala Natural Area Reserve bog. It is located on Waianae volcano (West Oahu), and at just about 4,000 feet, is the highest spot on the island of O`ahu.

This is a great little beach right in town, you can swim snorkel, kayak or just lay in the sun here.
