  2. Same view as taken on 10/26/12. Fortunately for this part of the Hudson Valley (30 miles north of Manhattan), Sandy did not cause tremendous damage, though there are a lot of trees down in the area.

  3. View west over the Hudson River from Rockefeller Park Preserve. Overcast day unfortunately but no prospect of fairer weather until after leaves are past peak. This is a couple of days pre-Sandy and I'm sure she'll take out all these pretty leaves!
