Located in Wells Gray Provincia; Park. BC north of Clearwater. The falls is about 185 feet high and flows into a volcanic gorge. Many layers of basaltic lava make up the colourful gorge. This 500 foot deep cleft was carved through the volcanic basalt layers which covered much of the interior of British Columbia. The creek flows into the Clearwater River. The west side road is visible on the opposite side.

After a long drive I arrived at Dry Falls just before sunset, but in time to fire off this GigaPan. I'd like to have had a little more sunlight to do a more detailed shot, but sometimes you just have to trade off detail for speed - especially when the sun is setting fast.
