Mule deer fawn. The fawn was quite well hidden in the grass and I couldn't see it from much further away, so I took this photo from about 15 feet from where it slept. 7 x 9, Canon S5

A pretty wide sweep just northeast of Pine, Arizona, looking south. The trail is actually pretty straight across the spot I am centered out, but the arc makes it look like it bends back on itself. Shifting clouds made the middle portion hazier colors.

This is a site in southeastern Arizona that is being treated to remove mesquite that has invaded this former grassland. The treatments include aerially applied chemicals that are being tested through a cooperative project including the rancher, the University of Arizona, and Dow Chemical.

Under the brightest sun of July, one of the amazing scenic stops driving inside Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. I don't know why is so attractive this place, but it is so. From left side is comming a storm of rain that disturbed that afternoon.

A view from one of my favorite camp spots on the Mogollon Rim, not more than a mile off of highway 87, but with this expansive view south towards Pine, AZ

Bell Rock on the left. Okay, this was my very first GigaPan and I was way to close, hence the distortion. Plus I was in a rush to drive through the traffic mess of Sedona rto get to the West Form of Oak Creek for a nice hike
