This was Taken from Terwillger Plaza Retirement community. They have a wonderful roof access for the people that live there and I am lucky enough to have family there. This was shot with a 5D2 and a 100mm lens.

This is a panorama of Mt. Hood taken from a viewpoint on the trail leading to Mirror Lake and Tom, Dick and Harry. Approximately 36 megapixels. Taken July 31st, 2011. Sorry about the weird color in advance. It's right in Lightroom, but G-pan turned the blue sky purple, and made the green forest black.

I Installed Dr. Amar's Speakers in this overhead fan system so I could listen to the Hip-Hop Sound Track of an Ice Cube Movie whilst cooking. I call it "Bose n the Hood"

Arrived after sunset with some moon light illuminating the scene. Difficult to obtain critical focus. There were wind gusts as well which I was not able to compensate for by using a fast shutter speed because I was capturing this after sunset.

This is a wonderful, but lesser known view of Mt Hood from near Parkdale, Oregon north east of the mountain. During late August and early September you are able to fully appreciate all of the hazards relating to glaciers as well as see the underlying ground and its characteristics. Later in the fall and winter the vi...

Mt Hood Timberline. This is the most often used route for climbing Mt Hood. You can see Illumination rock to the left which is an point of reference to use when looking at this other panorama of Mt Hood from the west and farther away. www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=32451

It was a nice clear sunny morning while I was in the rain-shadow of Mount Hood's summit. By the time I got around to the White River, however, the precipitation had begun to come down. This is the last semi-clear shot I had of the summit. It was completely obscured from Government Camp.
