This is the view of the redwood forests of western Mendocino County, California. The photo was taken on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from Highway 20 west of Willits, and above the tiny town of Comptche. One of many huge redwoods secluded in the Valley of the Lost Groves. This grove is even more interesting for exploration than Grove of Titans or Tall Trees Grove. My other redwood photos stem from this page: www.mdvaden.com/grove_of_titans.shtml
