My 97th GigaPan, 'Los Angeles, California the day after Christmas 2012 A' is the second one using my 'hybrid' GigaPan unit. My GigaPan Epic100 broke last month, GigaPan could not fix it. Instead of buying a new Epic100, I cloned the Camera bracket and trigger mechanism from the broken Epic100 onto the base unit of my...

My second GigaPan. I managed to accidently have the camera set to shutter priority rather than manual, so it isn't quite as good as it could be. All in all not bad for the second attempt though! I also shot this as brackets so an HDR version will follow. See more of my work at krollimages.com

One of the last scenes I shot before my GigaPan Epic broke down. Something happened with the GigaPan software or circuit board inside the unit and it just stopped working, when turned on it says 'please replace battery' even though batteries are fully charged. Has anyone else had this problem? I have only shot 45 ...

- Dodger Baseball Stadium, Opening day 4-10-12 with Downtown Los Angeles Palm Tree & Blimp by John Post
-
For this last of three GigaPans of Opening Day I moved my ladder location to include the palm tree, after all it is California! (did I mention that I am shooting these, as I do most of the time from my 8ft ladder to give a better vantage point, I have a ballhead attached to the top) View to Chavez Ravine, Dodger base...

View to Chavez Ravine, Dodger baseball stadium and downtown Los angeles, California. Opening day April 10, 2012. I wanted to shoot an aerial photo from a helicopter of the stadium but Homeland Security closed the sky for three miles around the stadium so I had to settle for doing three GigaPans from Elysian Park overl...

- Pt Vicente Lighthouse & Catalina Island #1 _ Palos Verdes_CA December 23-2011 G98 - John Post - nearbynature by John Post
-
My third (and final) image for the December 2011 nearbynature Gigablitz. Pt Vicente Lighthouse & Catalina Island. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Catalina Channel, the fence marks the separation of wild nature on one side and mans influence to make a neat, clean, safe and orderly place on the other. The Pt Vic...
