Authorized by the city of Canon City in 1929 the bridge is the highest suspension bridge over water in the world (1,053 feet). The river below is the Arkansas River. Note in the image the tourist train in the canyon and the wite-water rafters on the river. A helicopter is captured in three places as it does flight seeing. An aerial tram is seen in the far right of image. The image was caught with an Epic GigaPan and a Canon G10 having a 1.4X teleextender attached, giving an effective 200mm focal...

Now that I have a better feel for the Gigapan device, and have found new stitching solutions- I have decided to revisit this Inspiration Point Sunset over the White River near Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This image is still 162 photos, but I used PTGui to stitch the images. The PTGui interface allows me more stitching and blending options and also allows me to save the images as a PSB Photoshop Large Document Format. I am now able to open the images and edit them in Photoshop. This will also allow...

240* View from the Razorback Gift Shop Fire Tower on the West side of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This gigapan was shot last autumn-2011 just after sunrise. The tower is approximately 150 feet tall, and the wind and swaying tower forced me to use a high iso setting on my camera, which lead to a slightly lower image quality then I had hoped for. Since the Gigapan is also somewhat new to me, I tend to forget the amount of time it takes the panorama to be made and how much the sun might move during t...

Panoramic view from Big Bluff high above the Buffalo National River. 2012 Spring blossoms from Big Bluff on the Buffalo National River. Big Bluff is over 320 feet above the Buffalo River, I believe the entire bluff is @500' tall. This photograph was shot with a Canon 5d Mark II and a Tokina 80-400mm Lens set to @ 100mm It is composed of 418 stitched photographs, and is my largest Gigapan yet. It was spring break just after heavy rains, and this was the busiest I have ever seen the Buffalo River.
