Three Steeples on local churches, somewhat overexposed. The large central one is the Church of the Holy Trinity, to its left is the First Presbyterian, and just to the right of the large squarish building (Bancorp South) you should be able to make out the First Baptist Church Steeple.

This beautiful tree is in one of the oldest and certainly most significant historical areas of Hilton Head Island. This landmark is now threatened by "progress". The tree cutters ribbons can be seen in the second snapshot. I intend to take more photos of this huge living being in an attempt to further capt...

This hand-held 360-panorama was taken by a Nikon D70 with a Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G lens. Additional details can be found on Stitcher Notes with information there concerning the GigaPan Stitch...

When looking toward Hinton Center, one cannot fail to see eight granite columns, which are from the Galveston County Courthouse and date from the Hurricane of 1900 where people survived by being sheltered by these columns. This hand-held 360-panorama was taken by my trusty Nikon D70 with a new lens, the Nikkor 35mm ...
