  1. This Gigapan, taken by Grace Bannon (BIObus 2011), shows Saw Mill Pond, a Cypress Swamp/Bayou, from the fishing pier. The BIObus crew set out various insect traps and did extensive freehand collecting here. A UV sheet was set up for nocturnal insects. There were lots of nocturnal Tiger Beetles at this park.

  2. I captured a bit more than this, but for some reason it was locking up Photoshop as I did the join. Here is what did work and I think it came out alright. Lots of water fowl in the picture.

  3. Gigapan taken from parking garage shows damage from flooding after Ike. The floodwaters had receded quite a bit by this time.

  4. 4 second exposures of downtown houston. The Tripod was balanced on a rail, balanced on a deck, balanced on the roof of an old building with people walking around on it. Therefore, there are some of the component shots that are blurry. I'm less sure as to why some of the shots don't line up. If anyone has any suggestion...
