226042x21693px image will make you surprised of the details and the hiden places that could be seen. This is I thing the widest view of the town Kocani where the alomost 70% of the town is visible.
THIS IS THE HAND MADE PANORAMA WITHOUT USING THE ROBOT. Before last step corrections the pano was between 6-7Gpx, but in order to get the nice composition and quality it was cropped in Photoshop to 5Gpx. At the begining I almost reached the Photoshop limit of 300.000 px. Amazing experiance and re...

First shot i've taken that I feel was worth the extra time to photoshop and make perfect, including everything from the Mercedes Benz shoot to the cars stopped in traffic on the West Side Highway. Also what I think is the first shot taken at this resolution of the new Highline Park that's just opened. Definitely the most time i've ever spent working on a single picture...pretty good view from here. Printing as big as I can as well. enjoy!

San Francisco from Treasure Island at Night. I wish that I had taken a gigapan of the sunset that night instead of eating dinner. It was an absolutely beautiful sunset, but I was hungry and had not eaten since 10am that morning. I looked for a way to photograph this from Yerba Buena island, but it is difficult find a location with an unobstructed view without permission from another party. I used a collapsible portrait reflector as a shield against occasional gusts of wind. I also positione...

This is a panorama made by stitching together two old postcards which were postmarked way back in 1909. The photographs were shot from two close but separate positions so it is impossible to get a perfect stitch. For stitching I used the free version of DoubleTake (hence the watermark).
Ok, lets go on a virtual scavenger hunt. To participate you need to create a Gigapan.org account (free). Then navigate back to this Gigapan image and take a "snapshot" of each item you find below. I...
