This is a stereoscopic 3-dimensional image produced using two Panasonic FZ-50 cameras mounted on a Gigapan Epic Pro mount and shot at 420mm (equiv). Menefee Mountain In Southwestern Colorado USA
I hiked up from the highway but the Gigapan shutter plunger fell off in my truck. I ended up pushing the shutter by hand . I had seen alot of deer tracks on the way up and a few to many mountain lion tracks. Toward the end of the shoot I saw a large mule deer buck and was disappointed when I realized that he wasn't going to be in the pan.
