Virgin Galactic made their first public debut of their newest space lauch vehicle, Eve, at EAA AirVenture 2009. Also known as White Knight Two, this unique aircraft was designed to carry Space Ship Two, a smaller space vehicle capable of carrying the first commercial space tourists into outer space.

This is #3 of my New Years Eve shots. Every New Years Eve the City of Hermosa Beach has live music on the Promenade and crowds gather to bring in the New Year. A handheld (!) panorama taken around 3pm on 31 Dec 07 from the Southeastern Harbour Bridge Pylon lookout. There are a few badly stitched bits (missing top of bridge, city buldings crooked), but it was hard enough work as it was :) 350 images in final from over 400 shot
