This is an interesting failure of a gigapan. It's a failure because only every other shot was written to the card, but the result is surprisingly somewhat interesting, nonetheless. Shot as raw files only with an Epic Pro and a Canon 5D mk2 camera with a Leica 135mm Elmarit R lens in live view mode and written to a San...

This is the Guggenheim Bilbao as seen from the river. I guess its the "rear" view. I don't know how I managed to get this without people in the shot as there were some people taking evening walks and jogs while I was there. The building was built by architecht Frank Gehry

This is the beautiful Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, now famously created by architect Frank Gehry. I wish I could have taken some GigaPan photos inside to share the awesome use of gallery space but, unfortunately, photography was not allowed. This was taken just before dusk after the museum closed in July 2009.

The Frank Slide is a natural landslide on the northeasterly face of Turtle Mountain in southwest Alberta, Canada. On April 29, 1903, 30 million cubic meters of rock tumbled down to the valley floor, burying much of the small town of Frank, and killing 76 people. For further information, visit the website of the Fran...
